Beginning to Listen Through Documentation

$0.00

Dates & Times: Thursday evenings @ 7:00-8:30pm, Feb. 5, March 5, April 9, May 7

This CoP invites teachers who are curious about documentation as a way of listening. We will collectively explore tools, formats, and practical workflows for meaningful and manageable systems - grounding in documentation as a practice rooted in care, relationship, and reflection. Through shared conversation and inquiry, participants will deepen our understanding of children, teaching, and learning, and consider how documentation cycles can support more responsive and intentional practice.

Free for TRIN members. Suggested donation of $25 for non-member participants.

About the Facilitator:

Austin O’Berry has a background in infant toddler and preschool classroom teaching, university teacher candidate instruction, and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education. She recently relocated from Oklahoma to Texas with her husband and two children while planning to begin doctoral studies this year. She is the founder of Elevating Early Experiences, offering early childhood consulting and professional development services dedicated to supporting the systems and people who care for our youngest citizens. Her work anchors in partnerships with child care organizations, tribal nations, nonprofits, and schools to design joyful, accessible, and inclusive experiences for children and families.
